girlfriend and I

Last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. As our passion began to heat up she said, “I don’t feel like it. I just want you to hold me.” I said, “WHAT?! What was that?!” She said, “You’re just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man.” She responded to my puzzled look by saying, “Can’t you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?” Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The next day I took off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big department store. I walked around with her as she tried on several very expensive outfits. She couldn’t decide which one to take, so I told her we’d just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to go with her new clothes, so I said, “Lets get a pair for each outfit.” We went on to the j3welry counter where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. She was so excited. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet. I threw her for a loop when I said, “That’s fine, honey.” She was nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, “I think this is all dear, let’s go to the cashier.” I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, “No baby, I don’t feel like it.” Her face went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, “WHAT?” I said, “Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You’re just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman.” Just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, “Why can’t you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?” Apparently I’m not having sex tonight either… but at least she knows I’m smarter than her.

They Told Me I Would Only Feel a Pinch

The lights, red blue, red blue.

“Hey, why are you still waiting here? What happened over there?”

It was hard to make out the girl standing in front of the child, the dusk’s light was dropping below the horizon, sufficiently silhouetting her.

“I don’t…”

“did your dad forget about you or something?”
The thought seemed foreign and frightening to the child, he really had been waiting outside for what has seemed like an eternity. The slight interrogator stood over the child and appeared vaguely familiar for some reason, maybe from before…

“Wanna play a game? I like simon says.”

“Simon says doesn’t work, we need more people for that.”

“How about follow the leader, that way you have to do what I tell you?”

“I don’t really want to, I’m still waiting for my dad.” Where could he be, did he really forget about him?

“My dad never forgets about me.” With a smug smile on her face.

My dad doesn’t either, the child thought. He always did as his father said, set the table, take out the trash, do the dishes. There was never a moment that the child forgot about his father. This isn’t fair, the child felt a flash of anger light up the night around him.

A figure in a nice suit approached from across the street. The girl ran up to him and slid her hand inside the stranger’s.

“Hey, daddy that kid’s dad forgot about him, can you believe that?”

The stranger was silent and smiled at the boy. That’s silly, the boy thought, he smiled without a face. The child blinked hard; when he opened his eyes the two were gone.

Panic set in as his heart, or rather where his heart should be beat faster. Where am I, he thought, what’s going on? This all seemed irrelevant, where was his dad? If he were here none of this would be happening, he thought in a fit of frustration. Since he forgot about me, maybe I should just walk home by myself… do it by myself, “that’ll teach him” his whisper laced with a horrible emotion that should never be felt by anyone. With that thought the young child got up and walked off towards the ambulances as the deafening weight of the sky pushed down upon him.

Language of the Heart

Language of the Heart

Soapy Smith is a twenty-four-pound calico rex rabbit. A rex rabbit's coat lacks the stiff guard hairs of other breeds, resulting in a fur texture that is as soft as a cloud. People look startled when they first touch him and remark how soft he is. I've noticed he seems to make everyone who meets him a little softer, too.
One day, Soapy Smith and I visited a shelter for battered women located in a bedraggled section of the city. The women in the shelter looked at me through downcast eyes. No one smiled a greeting, and they appeared uninterested in Soapy's carrier. Everyone seemed tense and ready to flee. One little girl in particular moved like a wisp in the background. Never raising her eyes, never reaching out, she drifted in and out of the gathered group. The staff informed me that she had been there for over a month and had not spoken the entire time. Nothing they tried had any effect. Her mother said she had talked at one time but not in recent memory. I didn't want to imagine what could have happened to rob this little girl of the natural curiosity and enthusiasm so natural to childhood.
Spreading a blanket on the floor, I sat down and opened Soapy's carrier. As the silent child circled past me, I told the group that Soapy would come to talk to them if they sat on his blanket. Several children did this, including the silent girl. In a short time, Soapy emerged from his carrier and slowly hopped from one child to another. Unlike visits at schools where the first touches produced squeals of delight, this visit was unusually quiet. After touching Soapy, these children looked down and sighed softly or smiled into their hands. Soapy continued his rounds, and the children and their mothers gradually began to talk about Soapy and ask questions.
I chatted with the women and children as I kept one eye on the little girl. She sat rigidly at the edge of the blanket, legs held stiffly out straight in front of her. She was staring hard at Soapy. It appeared that he kept making eye contact with her. He would hop from child to child, each visit taking him a little closer to the girl. I began to wonder if he was pausing to give her time to watch him. During all other visits we had given together in schools, his usual behavior was to hop around the circle letting each person pet him. When he got back to me he would wash his face and then start the circle again.
That day, I watched as Soapy finally worked his way toward the girl. She didn't reach out to him or encourage him in any way. Rather she sat tensely, just staring.
Finally Soapy came to a stop about two inches from her thigh. He quietly reached out and laid his chin on her knee. I was astonished. While a common behavior for dogs, this is not a behavior exhibited by rabbits, especially not by this rabbit.
The child did not reach out to pet Soapy. Instead, she slowly leaned toward him. When her face was within inches of his, she carefully reached out and circled him with her arms. So softly that no one in the room could hear, she began to talk. Folded around the rabbit, she pillowed her head on his back and whispered to him. Soapy remained motionless.
I looked up and noticed that the shelter workers had stopped talking. Every adult in the room froze in place. Time seemed suspended. Then quietly the child unfolded and sat back up. Soapy sat up too, reached forward and briskly licked her knee. She did not smile. She did not reach out to him, but the rigidity of her back relaxed, and her shoulders rounded into a comfortable slope. The little girl stood up and walked over to her mother and began to suck her thumb.
The little girl reappeared when I was preparing to leave. She reached her hands out and looked me directly in the eye. I held Soapy out to her. She wrapped him in a big hug and pressed her face against him. Suspended from my hands as he was, I was concerned that he would begin to struggle. Instead he reached out his head again and laid it on the child's shoulder. His breathing slowed and he closed his eyes. As quickly as it happened, the little girl released her hug and stepped back. As she turned away, I thought I saw the beginnings of a faint smile.
The rabbit in his cloud of soft, warm fur had touched something deep in the child – something that had died from too much hard experience. Soapy's innocence and trust appeared to kindle those very same qualities in the little girl.
Numerous times, I've seen how the loving presence of an animal can heal where words have no effect. It seems the language of the heart is simple after all.

God's Message to Men and Women

The Rib - God's Message to Men and Women
Source Unknown
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils.
But you woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.
Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's life.
I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone I shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully.
Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart.
His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body.
You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side.
You are my perfect angel. You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtue in your heart. Your eyes - don't change them. Your lips - how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose so perfect in form your hands so gentle to touch. I've caressed your face in your deepest sleep; I've held your heart close to mine.
Of all that lives and breathes, you are the most like me. Adam walked with me in the cool of the day and yet he was lonely. He could not see me or touch me. He could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you: my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love, my protection and support. You are special because you are the extension of me.
Man represents my image - woman, my emotions. Together, you represent totality of God. So man - treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile. In hurting her, you hurt me.
What you do to her, you do to me. In crushing her, you only damage your own heart, the heart of your Father and the heart of her Father.
Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

Daddy's Girl

Daddy's Girl

Source Unknown
Her hair up in a pony tail,
her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
and she couldn't wait to go.
But her mommy tried to tell her,
that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand,
if she went to school alone.
But she was not afraid;
she knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates,
on the Daddy's Day.
But still her mommy worried,
for her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again,
she tried to keep her daughter home.
But the little girl went to school,
eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never sees,
a dad who never calls.
There were daddies along the wall in back
for everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
anxious in their seats.
One by one the teacher called,
a student from the class.
To introduce their daddy
as seconds slowly passed.
At last the teacher called her name,
every child turned to stare.
Each of them were searching,
for a man who wasn't there.
"Where's her daddy at?"
she heard a boy call out.
"She probably doesn't have one,"
another student dared to shout.
And from somewhere near the back,
she heard a daddy say.
"Looks like another deadbeat dad,
too busy to waste his day."
The words did not offend her,
as she smiled at her friends.
And looked back at her teacher,
who told her to begin.
And with hands behind her back,
slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child,
came words incredibly unique.
"My Daddy couldn't be here,
because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could,
be with me on this day."
"And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know.
All about my Daddy,
And how much he loves me so."
"He loved to tell me stories,
he taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses
and taught me to fly a kite."
"We used to share fudge sundaes,
and ice cream in a cone.
And though you cannot see him,
I'm not standing here alone."
"Cause my Daddy's always with me,
even though we are far apart.
I know because he told me,
he'll forever be here in my heart."
With that her little hand reached up,
and lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat,
beneath her favorite dress.
And from some where in the crowd of dads,
her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter,
who was wise beyond her years
For she stood up for the love,
of a man not in her life.
Doing what was best for her,
doing what was right.
And when she dropped her hand back down,
staring straight into the crowd.
She finished with a voice so soft,
but its message clear and loud.
"I love my Daddy very much,
he's my shining star.
And he'd be here if he could,
but heavens much to far."
"Sometimes when I close my eyes,
it's like he never went away."
And then she closed her eyes,
and she saw him there that day.
And to her mother's amazement,
she witnessed with surprise.
A room full of Daddies and Children,
all starting to close their eyes.
Who knows what they saw before them,
who knows what they felt inside.
Perhaps for merely a second,
they saw him at her side.
"I know you're with me Daddy,"
to the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers,
of those once filled with doubt.
Not one in that room could explain it,
for each of their eyes had been closed.
But there placed on her desk,
was a beautiful pink rose.
And a child was blessed, if only for a moment,
by the love of her shining bright star.
And given the gift of believing that,
Heaven is never too far.
Dedicated to all children that have lost their Daddy or Mommy. Always remember they will be in your hearts.

A Mother's Secret

A Mother's Secret

She was a beautiful young woman, just into her twenties. Happy, outgoing and extremely friendly, Kelly had no trouble making friends. She was little more than a year from completing college and her dream job would be awaiting when she finished. But now, for the first time in her life, things were in total disarray. Her boyfriend of several years had just broken off the relationship as he chose to take a job offer half way across the country. What he didn't know was that he would not only be leaving Kelly behind, but he would be leaving a daughter behind too.
Weeks before her boyfriend moved away, Kelly suspected she was pregnant, but didn't want to further disrupt things by saying anything. She knew that while she had loved her boyfriend, they would both be able to move on to independently forge happy and successful lives. After having confirmed her suspicions about being pregnant she took some time to contemplate. She had met with several doctors and finally decided it would be best to quietly end the pregnancy. A few weeks later, after having researched her options, she went in for an abortion and came out assured that she had made the right choice.
Kelly eventually got married and did in fact build a happy family. No one ever knew her secret, but it was best that way. At times she did think about the past and the daughter she almost had, but for the most part, life was good to Kelly. This afternoon, things changed.
Kelly was on her way to pick up her two teenagers from school when her car was side-swiped by a semi-trailer. No seatbelt or airbag was a match for the blunt force that likely killed her instantly. Kelly's story doesn't end here.
You see, 7 years ago Kelly had told friends and family that she had experienced something different during another mundane Sunday church service. She said for the first time she accepted what the Christian religion calls the "Gospel of Truth". Her acceptance of Jesus as her Savior and following repentance assured her that she would find herself in heaven when death came to her.
Today, death found Kelly and she indeed stands before God in heaven. It is her judgment day - a day in which we all must face God and answer to Him for our life on earth. For the first time, Kelly will look up and see the face of God the Father, with Jesus Christ sitting at his right hand side. At that moment, she will notice the face of an innocent young child who is sitting on Christ's knee. Kelly's secret was never truly hidden, and now her own daughter asks - "Why did you kill me mommy? Why didn't you choose to love and accept me the way God loves and accepts you?"
I don't know how Kelly responded to that piercing question. I can only imagine the surprise that baby girls' father will have when he dies and meets the daughter he never knew he had.

Letter to Satan

A Firm Stance - Letter to Satan

A Letter to Satan

Hey Satan,

You really shook me up last night! Having someone go into a Youth Rally and shoot people, that seemed cruel even for you! You almost had me discouraged and disheartened. Almost. Then I started to realize what was really going on.

My main question was why are you attacking Christian Youth? Then it hit me, fear. You realize that these are the people that will turn the tide of your "battle". You are so afraid because these youth aren't afraid of your conventional weapons. Peer pressure, drugs, sex, greed are all failing as these kids are standing up and saying "NO! I choose to honor God with my behavior." You tried cranking up the heat, making the culture more enticing to them, and they still say "NO!"

So you try to use the weapon that works well with adults, fear. That's not working. You killed them in Paducah, KY but still they pray. You shot them because they said yes to Jesus in Littleton, CO and they still choose to walk with God. Now you murder them in Fort Worth, and they will still Worship our awesome God. In case you haven't figured it out yet, it won't work!

Our kids won't cave in to you!! They are going to do exactly what you fear most, they will pray for strength. And God will give it to them! He will give them strength to keep going. They will spark a revival in our nation that will turn millions back to God. Once again, Jesus' love will beat your hate!

Oh and as for trying to make them feel that life is hopeless, that's where I come in. I won't let that happen. I will fight you every step of the way, showing the hope that is the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. You see I know we have not been given a spirit of fear, but God calls us His children, and you don't mess with one of God's kids!

So take your shots and try, but we will not cave, and we're finished being on the defensive. Jesus tells us that the Gates of Hell can't stop us, and we're claiming that promise. So get ready for the battle of your life.

Problem for you is, you have already lost. You lost 2,000 years ago when you tried to kill Jesus. Now the students that you kill are standing with Him, no more pain, laughing at you and your feeble attempt at victory. Please understand, this is no less then a declaration of war. You may want to give up now, cause our Dad is on our side and Jesus told us that if He is for us nobody can stand against us. So if you desire, we will accept your unconditional surrender, otherwise let's get ready to rumble!

Dinner For Three

This old wino staggers into a bar and the barman immediately told him to get out. The tramp said that he would only leave if the barman gave him a cocktail stick.
The barman, thinking this was a fair exchange, gladly gave the man a cocktail stick and watched him stagger back outside.
A minute later another old wino walked into the bar and got asked to leave by the barman. This drunk also demanded a cocktail stick if he was to leave quietly. There had been no trouble the first time so, once again, the barman obliged and the old drunk quietly left.
Soon after, a third wino came into the barman and without hesitation the barman offered him a cocktail stick to leave. This time though the drunk turned him down and said he would only leave if the barman gave him a drinking straw.
Curiosity finally got the better of the barman and he asked the old drunk why he wanted a drinking straw when the other two drunks had asked for cocktail sticks.
The wino said "Well, someone was sick outside and all the lumpy bits have gone now!"

Blonde Looking For Work

A blonde who's down on her luck is walking through a luxurious neighbourhood looking for odd jobs to do when she approaches a large house. She goes up to the house, rings the bell and the owner comes to the door.
He asks the lady what he can do for her. The blonde tells him of her situation, that she is down on her luck and wants to know if he has any odd jobs that she could do. The man thinks about it for a second and then remembers that he has been wanting his porch painted. He asks the blonde if she paints?
The blonde says, "Sure anything."
"Well, I've been wanting my porch painted, how much would you charge?" the man replies.
"I don't know, say $50 bucks."
"Sounds good. Go ahead and get started." He closes the door and walks back inside.
His wife asks him, "Who was at the door?" He tells her of the blonde and her situation and then told his wife that the blonde agreed to paint the porch for $50 bucks.
The astonished wife says, "$50 bucks, but that porch goes the full length of our house and then some. It will be at least a few hours job. You really should pay her more."
"But that's all she said she wanted, and anyway she's a dumb blonde!"
10 minutes later, they get a knock on the door. The man answers the door and the blone stands there and says, "All done."
With a surprised look on his face, "I can't believe it, you're already done painting the entire porch."
"Yes, and by the way it's not a porch it's a Ferrari."

The Job Interview

A young blonde woman goes to an office for a job interview . The interviewer decides to start with the basics. "So, miss, can you tell us your age, please?"
The blonde counts carefully on her fingers for about 3 seconds before replying "Ehh... 23!".
The interviewer tries another straight forward one to break the ice. "And can you tell us your height, please?"
The young lady stands up and produces a measuring tape from her handbag. She then traps one end under her foot and extends the tape to the top of her head. She checks the measurement and announces, "Five foot three!"
This isn't looking good so the interviewer goes for the real basics. "And ehh, just to confirm for our records, your name please?"
The blonde bobs her head from side to side for about twenty seconds, mouthing something silently to herself, before replying "Stephanie".
The interviewer is completely baffled at this stage, so he asks "Just out of curiosity, miss. We can understand your counting on your fingers to work out your age, and the measuring tape for your height is obvious, but what were you doing when we asked you your name?"
"Ohh that!" replies the blonde, "That's just me running through 'Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...'"

Mother and sun too funny

A mother was working in the kitchen listening to her son playing with his new electric train in the living room.

She heard the train stop and her son saying, ‘All you sons of bitches who want off, get the hell off now, ’cause this is the last stop.

And all you sons of bitches who are getting on, get your asses in the train, ’cause we’re going down the tracks.’

The horrified mother went in and told her son, ‘We don’t use that kind of language in this house.

Now I want you to go to your room and you are to stay there for two hours.

When you come out, you may play with your train, but I want you to use nice language.’

Two hours later, the son came out of the bedroom and resumed playing with his train.

Soon the train stopped and the mother heard her son say, ‘All passengers who are disembarking the train, please remember to take all of your belongings with you.

We thank you for riding with us today and hope your trip was a pleasant one. We hope you will ride with us again soon.’

She hears the little boy continue ‘For those of you just boarding, we ask you to stow all of your hand luggage under your seat. Remember, there is no smoking on the train.

We hope you will have a pleasant and relaxing journey with us today.’

As the mother began to smile, the child added, ‘For those of you who are pissed off about the two-hour delay, please see the bitch in the kitchen.

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE... Very Funny.. Must Read..

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE... Very Funny.. Must Read..

(1) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome'.. That will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever : Is a woman's way of saying...Go to Hell...

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it : Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3. - See more at: http://inspireurfriend.blogspot.in/2013_05_01_archive.html#sthash.DTjs3AyM.dpuf

Funny Misunderstanding.. ha ha ha ha...

Smith just got a job as a porter in a five star hotel in Lords.

The manager told him: "...in here we give every customer personalized services and you have to be very observant. so you know how to address their every need even before they ask".

Before the manager could finish, a couple walked through the hotel entrance and the manager quickly approached them, nicely took their baggage and said, "Welcome Mr & Mrs James, it is our delight to have you in our hotel.

Please come this way to the reception" ... and he led them to the reception.

After the couple had been taken care of, Smith asked the manager, "Has the couple been visiting this hotel before?"

"No" came the reply from the manager.

"So how come you knew their name?" asked Smith.

"That is why I told you to be very observant.

All I had to do was quickly look at the label on their baggage while I'm taking it from them and see the name on the tag".

"Oh, here comes another couple. Why don't you give it a try?"

"Ok" said Smith and he hurriedly approached the couple, helped them with their luggage and said, "Welcome Mr & Mrs MADE IN CHINA! We are delighted to have you in our hotel..."

Funny Mental

John and Smith were both patients in a mental hospital.

One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, John suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom and stayed there.

Smith promptly jumped in to save him, she swam to the bottom and pulled John out.

When the medical doctor became aware of Smith's act, he immediately ordered his discharged as he now considered him to be mentally stable.

When he went to tell Smith the news, he said : Smith, i have a good news and bad news, the good news is that you are being discharged, because, since you were able to jump in to a swimming pool and save the life of another patient, i think you have regain your senses.

the bad news is that, Smith, the patient you saved hung himself with his bathrobe belt in the bathroom, i am sorry he is dead.

Smith replied,, ,, he did not hang himself, i put him there to dry!,

After Few Years Later,

A plane was carrying mental patients who were making lot of noise, one patient pops into the cockpit and orders the pilots to teach him to fly a plane.

PILOT: yes we will but on a condition that u tell your friends to keep quiet, off he goes and after a short while everywhere became quiet

And he came back, "teach me now" he said, amazed the pilots asked "but how did u manage to silence your friends?"

PATIENT: I've opened the door for them to go and play out side.

"Everybody dies twice. Once when their childhood ends."

Read it..Just Awesome..

Once choosing the color of a sketch pen was a tough task.

Occupying the window seat in the school bus was called obsession.

Getting a toffee as a birthday treat from a friend made our day.

Being the first one to finish copying from the blackboard was the ultimate moment of pride.

Hiding the answers from a bench partner during exams was not called selfishness.

When homework was the only torture & finished it soon, so could get some extra time to play.

Early to bed, early to rise was life's mantra, but how we loved sleeping late and having some extra TV time!

Owning a cycle was like owning everything.

To look good was only to wear our favorite dress frocks for girls n half pants for boys.

We didn't need Facebook or a phone to keep in touch!

We thought all elders are ideal, when Daddy was the only hero and Mom was the only Best friend."

So what they say is right.

"Everybody dies twice. Once when their childhood ends."

She is not my wife

She is not my wife

A woman comes home and tells her husband, "Remember those headaches

I've been having all these years? Well, they're gone."

"No more headaches?" The husband asks, "What happened?"

His wife replies, "Margie referred me to a hypnotist.

He told me to stand in front of a mirror, stare at myself and repeat
'I do not have a headache; I do not have a headache, I do not have a headache.' It worked.

The headaches are all gone."

His wife then says, "You know, you haven't been exactly a ball of fire in the bedroom these last few years.

Why don't you go see the hypnotist and see if he can do anything for that?"
The husband agrees to try it.

Following his appointment, the husband comes home,

rips off his clothes, picks up his wife and carries her into the bedroom.
He puts her on the bed and says, "Don't move, I'll be right back." He goes into the bathroom and
comes back a few minutes later and jumps into bed and makes passionate love to his wife
like never before.

His wife says, "Damn! That was wonderful!"

The husband says, "Don't move! I will be right back." He goes back into the bathroom,

comes back and round two was even better than the first time. The wife sits up and her head is spinning.

Her husband again says, "Don't move, I'll be right back." With that, he goes back in the bathroom.

This time, his wife quietly follows him and there, in the bathroom, she sees him standing at the
mirror and saying,

She's not my wife.
She's not my wife.
She's not my wife.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday.

Very Very Funny

After shopping for most of the day, a couple returns to find their car has been stolen.

They go to the police station to make a full report.

Then, a detective drives them back to the parking lot to see if any evidence can be found at the scene of the crime.

To their amazement, the car has been returned.

There is an envelope on the windshield with a note of apology and two tickets to a music concert.

The note reads, “I apologize for taking your car, but my wife was having a baby and I had to hot-wire your ignition to rush her to the hospital. Please forgive the inconvenience.

Here are two tickets for tonight’s concert of Garth Brooks, the country-and-western music star.”

Their faith in humanity restored, the couple attend the concert and return home late.

They find their house has been robbed. Valuable goods have been taken through out the house, from basement to attic.

And, there is a note on the door reading, “Well, you still have your car. I have to put my newly born kid through college somehow, don’t I?”

YOU ARE UNIQUE!

Think what a remarkable, unduplicatable, and miraculous thing it is to be you! Of all the people who have come and gone on the earth, since the beginning of time, not ONE of them is like YOU!

No one who has ever lived or is to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, appearance, friends, acquaintances, burdens, sorrows and opportunities.

N
o one’s hair grows exactly the way yours does. No one’s finger prints are like yours. No one has the same combination of secret inside jokes and family expressions that you know.

The few people who laugh at all the same things you do, don’t sneeze the way you do. No one prays about exactly the same concerns as you do. No one is loved by the same combination of people that love you – NO ONE!

No one before, no one to come. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE!

Enjoy that uniqueness. You do not have to pretend in order to seem more like someone else. You weren’t meant to be like someone else. You do not have to lie to conceal the parts of you that are not like what you see in anyone else.

You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history will the same things be going on in anyone’s mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now.

If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap in history, something missing from the plan for humankind.

Treasure your uniqueness. It is a gift given only to you. Enjoy it and share it!

No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person.

No one can be cheerful and lighthearted and joyous in your way. No one can smile your smile. No one else can bring the whole unique impact of you to another human being.

Share your uniqueness. Let it be free to flow out among your family and friends and people you meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you are. That gift of yourself was given you to enjoy and share. Give yourself away!

Really Heart Touching Story

Really heart touching.........

I was walking around in a Big Bazar store making shopping, when I saw a Cashier talking to a boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old..

The Cashier said, 'I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll. Then the little boy turned to me and asked: ''Uncle, are you sure I don't have enough money?''

I counted his cash and replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy the doll, my dear.'' The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. 'It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much . I wanted to Gift her for her BIRTHDAY.

I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.' His eyes were so sad while saying this. 'My Sister has gone to be with God.. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister...''

My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: 'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.' Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me 'I want mommy to take my picture with her so my sister won't forget me.' 'I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.' Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly..

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. 'Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?''

'OK' he said, 'I hope I do have enough.' I added some of my money to his with out him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: 'Thank you God for giving me enough money!'

Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!'' 'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. My mommy loves white roses.'

I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever...

The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Please DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE.

Very Funny Joke - John in THERE

A 35 year woman takes a lover home during the day while her husband is at work in London. Her 9-year old son comes home unexpectedly, sees them and hides in the bed room closet to watch. The woman’s husband also comes home at the same time. She puts her lover in the closet, not realizing that the little boy is in there already.

The little boy says, “John in here.”
The man says, “Yes, it is”
Boy ” I have a baseball.”
Man “That’s nice”
Boy “Want to buy it?”
Man “No, thanks”
Boy “My dad/s outside…”
Man “O.K. – How much?”
Boy “$250?

In a few weeks, it happens again that the boy and the lover are in the closet together because woman's husband also came home at the same time.

Boy “John in here”
Man “ Yes, it is.”
Boy “I have a baseball glove”
The lover, remembering the last time, asks the boy,
“How much?”
Boy “$750?
Man “Sold!”

A few days later the father says to the boy, “Grab your glove, let’s go outside and play a game of catch. The boy says, “I can’t, I sold my baseball and my glove.” The father asks, “How much did you sell them for?” Boy ” $ 1,000? The father says, “That’s terrible to overcharge your friends like that… that is way more than those two things cost. I’m going to take you to church and make you confess.”

They go to the church and the father makes the little boy sit in the confession booth and he closes the door. The boy says, “John in here”. The priest says, “Don’t start that shit again, you’re in my closet now.”

Testicle Therapy

Testicle Therapy

Two  women were playing golf. One teed off and watched in horror as her ball headed  directly toward a foursome of men playing the next hole. The ball hit one  of the men. He immediately clasped his hands together at his groin, fell to the  ground and proceeded to roll around in agony.

The woman rushed down to the man,  and immediately began to apologize.. ‘Please allow me to help. I’m a Physical  Therapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you’d allow me, she told  him. ‘Oh, no, I’ll be all right. I’ll be fine in a few minutes,’ the man  replied.

He was in obvious agony, lying in the fetal position, still clasping  his hands there at his groin. At her persistence, however, he finally allowed  her to help. She gently took his hands away and laid them to the side, loosened  his pants and put her hands inside.

She administered tender and artful massage  for several long moments and asked, ‘How does that feel’? Feels great, he  replied; but I still think my thumb’s broken!

Male Sensitivity

Male Sensitivity

The room was full of pregnant women with their partners.

The class was in full swing.  The instructor was teaching the women how to breathe and was telling the men how to give the necessary assurance to their partners at this stage of the pregnancy. She said, “Ladies, remember that exercise is good for you.

Walking is especially beneficial.  It strengthens the pelvic muscles and will make delivery that much easier.  Just take several stops and stay on a soft surface like grass or a path.” She looked at the men in the room, “and Gentlemen, remember — You’re in this together — It wouldn’t hurt you to go walking with her.” The room suddenly got very quiet as the men absorbed this information.

Then a man at the back of the room slowly raised his hand. “Yes?” answered the Instructor. “I was just wondering if it would be all right if she carries a golf bag while we walk??” —- This kind of sensitivity just can’t be taught

A fly in the urinal

A fly in the urinal

Tuesday's Wall Street Journal has an article about the Dutch takeover
of JFK airport's International Arrivals building. The Dutch have some
interesting ideas on how to clean it up:
In Amsterdam, the tile under Schiphol's urinals would pass inspection
in an operating room. But nobody notices. What everybody does notice
is that each urinal has a fly in it. Look harder, and the fly turns
into the black outline of a fly, etched into the porcelain.

"It improves the aim," says Aad Kieboom. "If a man sees a fly, he aims
at it." Mr. Kieboom, an economist, directs Schiphol's own building
expansion. His staff conducted fly-in-urinal trials and found that
etchings reduce spillage by 80%.
"We will put flies in the urinals -- yes," Jan Jansen says in a back
office at the Arrivals Building. He is the new Dutch general manager,
the boss as of noon today. "It gives a guy something to think about.
That's the perfect example of process control."

His New York public relations attendant titters. "Fine, laugh at me,"
Mr. Jansen says. "It works."

Microsoft MAMA

The other day I was typing away on my word processor, thinking far faster than I could type, of course.  I had all the stops pulled out so as to type as fast as possible.  I had already learned that my computer didn't like some of my words, some of my spelling, some of my grammar, and some of the other stuff I was pecking into the page.  To register its displeasure, it underlined with a squiggly line what it didn't like in green, or red.  Sometimes it would underline punctuation marks, or spaces.  On occasion it would underline an entire sentence in green or red, and I would have to start over.  All this was fine, the kind of stuff you can get used to.
Then it happened.  I was doing a piece on kids experimenting with physics, like trying to set a fahrt afire.  That is the kind of thing kids do.  When I typed fahrt, it underlined the word in red, indicating, I guess, that it thought the word is misspelled.  I misspelled the word intentionally, as modern day v-chips screen for four letter words, like fahrt, and restrict access to kids.  Doing a kids piece on fahrts, and how to set fahrts afire is not of much value if kids can't read it.  They might even burn themselves quite badly without expert guidance.  In this case, they can't even find the proper instruction because the v-chip gets there first.  So you have to misspell four letter words, especially those starting with F.   My processor is a lot faster than I am at catching these errors, but I am getting a lot smarter.

Then I came to a critical point of demarcation while fahrting, and decided to call it outputt, with two Ts.  Each time I spaced after the word, outputt, Microsoft Mama automatically changed the spelling back to output.  It didn't ask me if I wanted to misspell output.  It didn't underline outputt, so I could see the angry mama, it just changed it back to output.  I was enraged.  I wanted to misspell output as outputt, as this conveyed my message far more clearly.  The simplest message was a fahrt as outputt.  In desperation, I decided to confuse this mother of all word processors by placing a hyphen in the word, like out-putt.  Ah haa!  I was able to slip one right past Microsoft Mama, who never caught a whiff of it.  I was still enraged, but I learned to confuse my word processor with hyphens, so I could do what I wanted, and what made the most sense without her confounded interference.

The whole scene was reminiscent of Gertrude, my own for-real mother.  God rest her soul, she was an English teacher, music teacher, Spanish teacher, drama director, and a commerce and bookkeeping teacher to boot.  She wanted her Is dotted and her Ts crossed.  While we were growing up, she didn't let us get away with robust expressions or earthy English.  As kids at breakfast, around the dinner table, or just hanging around the house, if we stumbled over the English, she never missed an opportunity to correct us.  She didn't correct my spelling because she couldn't see the spelling, but she corrected everything else.  She didn't bother to wait till I was through speaking.  Like the word processor, she corrected everything she heard as soon as she heard it.

Bobby, she would say, Don't end a sentence with a preposition.

But Gertrude, I would say, prepositions are my favorite words to end sentences with.

Then I would add, Her and me went to -

Her and me never went anywhere, she would interrupt.  She and I went is the correct grammatical form."

OK I would say, she and I didn't go nowhere.

            Anywhere, she said.

I ain't gonna say nothing else.

Good, she said, Then I wont have to correct your sorry English.  She actually never called our English sorry, because she didn't want us to feel bad (badly), but she just wouldn't tolerate the sorry English that came out of our mouths.

While she wouldn't tolerate sorry English in real life, she loved drama that was full of it.  One of its forms in the 40s and 50s was the minstrel show.  The above is my grammatical mama in full garb prepared to do her thing.  A little blackface, a little costume, and a group of like minded folks, and she would put on a two-hour minstrel show.  Rastus and Mandy were her favorites.  One of her monologue/dialogs was from the front of the stage looking down at the audience:

Knock, knock, knock, knock (at the door).

Who dat? she would say in her female voice, looking down toward the audience.

Who dare? she replied in a male voice, looking up from the audience.

Who dat down dare who say who dat when I say who dare? she replied.

In the mid 1940s, there was almost no technology by today's standards.  We were not far removed from silent movies, and radio was a sorry reality.  All movies were black and white, and the riggin for changing a movie automatically from one reel of film to another had not been developed.  When a movie required a film change, a series of dots appeared on the screen, the projector ran out of film through the mechanism, the projector was turned off, and the theater went dark.  Then the lights came on, the old reel was removed from the machine, the next reel of film was installed on the machine, then the film was threaded through the mechanism, being sure that a loop of film of the proper length was placed between the projection lamp and the sound sensor so the sight and sound were synchronized, the lights were turned back off, and the projector and lamp were restarted.  This change process often took several minutes, depending on the operator.  We adjusted to the delay, and became impatient only when the operator was all thumbs.  With excessive delays, the aggressive males in the audience would shout appropriate insults at the operator, like "don't quit your day job".

Voice recording machines were in their infancy.  One of the earliest such machines was about the size of a Volkswagen, and weighed a hundred pounds.  It recorded voice on a continuous magnetic wire, then erased and re-recorded on the same wire.  The wire was only a few minutes in length when running.  One day while the cousins were visiting, Fred brought one of these machines home from school.  We played with the machine for a long time, telling short stories, and doing what kids do with a microphone and a new-fangled sound recording machine.  The younger kids couldn't talk to the end of the wire, and the older kids couldn't say what they wanted to say in the same time.

After a period of practice, it came cousin Bobs turn with the voice-recording machine.  We had a stopwatch so we could tell when the machine was running out of time, and a hand signal a few seconds before the machine ran out of recording wire.  Cousin Bob took the microphone and we turned the machine on.  Go, we said.

Once upon a time, there was a little black boy, and his name was Sambo.  He lived with his family on the edge of the forest.  One day he wandered down the path and deep into the forest.  Soon he met a tiger.

Hi there, little boy, said the tiger, What is your name?

My name is Sambo, said the little boy.

Where are you going, said the tiger.

I am going for a walk.  It is such a nice day.  Would you like to walk with me, asked Sambo?

No I wouldn't.  I think I'm gonna eat you, said the tiger.

Oh, please, mister tiger." said Sambo,  "Don't eat me today, and I will give you my nice hat.

Alright, said the tiger.  If you will give me your pretty hat, I wont eat you today

So little black Sambo took off his hat and gave it to the tiger.

The tiger was so proud that he danced around in circles wearing little Sambo's hat.

Then the tiger eat the child.

That is what cousin Bob said in his haste to finish the story before the machine ran out of wire.  All the kids thought the surprise ending was hilarious, and completely overlooked the sorry English.  Had Microsoft Mama heard Bob's English, she would have pulled the plug from the wall, then advised him that a story in past tense is The tiger ate the child.  In spite of the sorry English, nobody was as sorry as little black Sambo, when Cousin Bob ran out of recording wire.
